1. Cave doesn't care, as far as I know, it's Aeria trying to nerf the inc.
2. Yeah it's different, gear forms an integral part of your build and Nocturne aside (which has been largelyboycotted by pvpers) don't give a real big boost when you think about it. Especially when you consider the difference of older sets to newer sets (3/4% difference) which go pretty cheap.
The point is many go into pvp as endgame to test their builds, see how well they've done and how they stack up to others. Inc is an easy way out of actually working on your build. Now, thankfully, there's only a handful of good pvpers (or those that would be good) that use inc. Still it's pretty galling to lose when you should win. A perfect example of this is when I got Cordelia, who was on prto inc and hustle (not just an accu, she/he admits it) one shot away from defeat and they mana then run away. Last time she/he got beat they had a good QQ over it and quit the match. It's pretty sad when you get to that point.
For the most part, it just means I have to use twice as many bullets to take someone out. However, when I should have beat a lvl 95 melee twice over and don't I'm gonna bitch and moan. Yeah I can incense back but I enjoy a pretty good reputation in pvp and I'd like to keep it that way.
Inc ruins the competition, thats why it's bad for pvp.
